SEASnet charges $100/year. Upgrades and security patches for WordPress core, themes, and plugins are on us, so you only need to focus on your website design and content. Furthermore, we don’t nickel-and-dime you on storage, visits, and bandwidth. With our low-cost annual fee that cannot be beaten, you’ll get unlimited storage/visits/bandwidth and flexible site design that is limited only by your imagination.

By default, your URL will be of the format https://research.seas.ucla.edu/your-site-name and you can specify the initial your-site-name. If you have an existing URL, we will assist you as much as possible to redirect or map it to https://research.seas.ucla.edu/your-site-name.

With over 100 themes and plugins already available for you, if you cannot find what you like, we can certainly discuss this with you. Although only the plugins and themes that have been code-reviewed and passed the WordPress Coding Standards are available, additional plugins and themes can be considered if they pass the vetting process. Additional yearly fee may apply if you choose to keep any new and uncommonly used plugins and themes.

Not you!  In order to ensure the reliability of our service, CampusPress.com (our hosting partner) performs all the maintenance during a regularly scheduled weekly window.
