G.V.Kurdumov Institute for Metal Physics NASU, Ukraine

Founded in 1945, G.V. Kurdyumov Institute for Metal Physics of N.A.S. of Ukraine is one of the largest centers of fundamental research in the field of physics of metals in Ukraine and Europe. The scientists of the Institute carry out research on four basic scientific directions: i) Electronic structure and properties of metals and metal-based compounds; ii) Nanoscale and nanostructured systems; iii) Atomic constitution of metals and metal-containing heterophase structures; iv) Physics of strength and plasticity of metals and alloys.
